Women's XC Has Strong Showing in Season Opener

Milledgeville, GA – The Central Georgia Technical College women's cross country team opened their season in the GMC Brickyard Invitational on Friday, September 8.

Finishing 10th out of 12 teams, the Lady Titans competed against four-year college/university teams such as: Clayton State University, Albany State University, Clark Atlanta University, Middle Georgia State University, and Georgia Southwestern State University. 

With an average time of 33:55, the Lady Titans had a strong showing from the first-year runners.

The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 16 in the Julius Johnson Invitational at the Georgia Premier Cross Country Course in Macon. Start time for the women's 5K is 8:30 a.m.
