Antonio Harris Notches 100th Career Win

CGTC WBB Head Coach Antonio Harris Earns 100th Career Coaching Win

Women's basketball head coach, Antonio Harris, earned his 100th career win on Saturday, December 3, as the CGTC Lady Titans defeated Andrew College 64-60.

Harris has headed the CGTC women's basketball program since June 2015, after serving as the men's basketball assistant coach.

A native of Macon, Coach Harris is a proud Northeast High School alum. Prior to joining CGTC, Harris coached at Howard Middle School, Tattnall Square Academy, and Miller Fine Arts Magnet Middle School.

"While I'm honored to get my 100th collegiate coaching win, I never really thought about the individual accolade," said Harris. "My focus has always been on doing what's best for our student-athletes, to see them through graduating from CGTC, and helping them get to the next level in their lives; whether that's on or off the basketball court."

During his seven-year tenure, Harris has coached one National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American, 12 NJCAA Academic All-Americans, two NJCAA All-Academic Teams of the Year, 15 Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) All-Academic Team members, 11 GCAA First and Second Team All-Conference players, one GCAA Freshman of the Year, one GCAA Player of the Year, one GCAA Defensive Player of the Year, and six GCAA All-Tournament Team members.

"We're extremely proud of Coach Harris for achieving this great milestone," said CGTC Director of Athletics, Cambri Steadman. "Reaching 100 wins is a testament to Coach Harris' continuous commitment to our student-athletes, our athletics program, and to Central Georgia Technical College. It's an honor to see Antonio reap the fruits of his labor."
