Marred by a slow offensive start through the midway mark of the first half, the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Titans (16-3, 6-1) rallied back to defeat Andrew College 76-63 in Wednesday night's contest.

While only having scored five points in the first nine minutes and fifty-five seconds of competition, the Titans were able to click on all cylinders and go on a 19-2 run to take a 24-11 lead.

Seeing their 10 point halftime lead diminish to one point in the second half, the Titans were ignited by the hustle and leadership of some veteran players and some key trips to the free throw line. The Titans finished the game 26-of-30 from the charity stripe.

Sophomore DeJon Waters Jr. recorded a team-high 16 points, accompanied by six rebounds and two assists. Other double-digit scorers included Ijon Owens with 11 points and one steal, Champ Dawson with 10 points and eight rebounds, and Antonio Youngblood with 10 points and four rebounds. Anyeuri Castillo also finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds, giving him his seventh double-double of the season.

The Titans will take the home court again in Macon when they host Georgia Highlands College on Saturday, January 26 at 3:00 p.m.
