Macon, Ga. – As the 2018-19 basketball season draws near, the Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) men's basketball program continues to add impressive depth to their roster with the recent signing of former Warner Robins High School (WRHS) standout, Jalen 'Champ' Dawson.

As his name suggests, Champ Dawson is no stranger to the elite moments on the hardwood, as he helped lead the Demons to the 2018 Georgia High School Sports Association (GHSA) Boys AAAAA State Championship title.

Dawson, a 6'2" combo guard, averaged 10 points, six assists, four rebounds, and two steals in his senior season, in which the Warner Robins Demons finished with a 28-3 overall record and a region winning 10-0 record. Dawson earned Second Team All-Region honors and was ranked #22 in the Hypesouth All-Middle Georgia Boys Basketball poll.
