
Macon, GA – The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Athletics Department has announced the 2021-22 women's basketball schedule. The Lady Titans' season will include 13 home games and 18 Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association (GCAA) conference match-ups, including a home-and-home series against Georgia Highlands College, East Georgia State College, Andrew College, Albany Technical College, South Georgia Technical College, and Southern Crescent Technical College.
Following four exhibition games on the road in October, the Lady Titans will open the regular season at home on November 1 against the Brenau University junior varsity team.
The Lady Titans get their first dose of conference competition when they head to Albany Technical College on November 17. The Lady Titans will then host district foe Spartanburg Methodist College on November 20.
The team will take a quick break from conference play to participate in the Chipola Classic December 10-11 in Marianna, Florida.
After their December break, the Lady Titans will return to action at home on January 5 when they host the reining GCAA champions, South Georgia Technical College.
The CGTC Lady Titans finished the 2020-21 season with a 3-14 overall record and a 3-12 record in the conference. The women's program will bring in all new players this season, but will have some familiar faces with hometown players Brooklynn Talton (Central High School – Macon), Jaliyah Spencer (Westside High School – Macon), and Stantagious Alford (Southwest High School – Macon).
