Coach JoBen Rivera-Thompson is the Goalkeeper Coach for CGTC's Soccer Program, he oversees both, the Men and Women Goalkeeper student-athletes.

Coach Rivera-Thompson was the head soccer coach of 2-A Fox Creek High School of the South Carolina Charter School District in North Augusta, S.C. from 2013-2016, where he led the school to only its second playoff appearance in history. 
His overall record is 22-42 as a head coach, he holds U.S. Soccer Certifications.

He currently serves as Director of Marketing, Public Relations and International Outreach at the CGTC, he holds two bachelor's degrees from Augusta University in Journalism and Spanish. Coach Rivera-Thompson is a proud follower of Christ, husband, and father. When he's not involved in soccer, his passions are playing percussion with his band The Ritmo Soul Bunch and watching other sports like basketball.
