Titans End Non-Conference Play with Big Win

Warner Robins, Ga. – The Titans (4-0) ended non-conference play undefeated with an 89-65 victory over Franklin Prep Saturday evening.

Sophomores Montavious Terrell and Truitt Spencer ignited the Titans' early 12-2 run with their solid shooting from beyond the arc.

Exerting their dominance from beginning to end, the Titans never trailed Franklin Prep in the contest. The team shot 32 of 63 (50.8%) from the field and 10 of 29 (34.5%) from three-point territory.

Keying in on their defensive plan, the Titans scored 28 points off of 26 Franklin Prep turnovers. Balancing their offensive attack, the team raked in 36 points in the paint.

Scoring most of his points in the first half, Truitt Spencer finished the game with 20 points, three rebounds, five assists, and one steal. Montavious Terrell scored 15 points with one rebound, two assists, and two steals.

Freshman Jalyn Hickman added 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals, and one block.

Reserve players played a major role in the Titans' win, scoring 35 of the team's total points.

The Titans will play their first conference game on Tuesday, February 9 when they host South Georgia Technical College at Titans Arena in Macon. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
