
Titans Football Dominate Season Opener with a 75-0 Victory
WARNER ROBINS, Ga- The Central Georgia Technical College (CGTC) Titans launched their season with an emphatic 75-0 win over River City Prep on Saturday. The Titans showcased their prowess with a balanced offensive attack and a suffocating defense that left River City Prep scoreless.
Michael Caballero led the rushing game with 8 carries for 70 yards, while Neico Sandifer was a standout receiver with 2 catches for 79 yards. Nathan Miller threw for 137 yards completing 6 out of 9 passes, with Jared Lawrence adding 64 more through the air.
Defensively, the Titans were equally dominant, with Nicholas Benton and E'sean Arnold each contributing key interceptions, igniting the Titans’ relentless defensive pressure. The defensive line, including Anton Evans and Isayah “Tony” Clark, applied consistent pressure to the ground and passing attack for River City Prep, contributing to 4 sacks, 3 fumbles, and a slew of tackles in the backfield.
Head Coach Kato Hitson commended the team’s dedication to performing well and its execution.
“We were locked in from the first whistle,” Hitson said. “Our guys have worked extra hard to prepare for this season, and it showed on the field Saturday.”
