Macon, Ga – The Lady Titans (14-15, 12-6) defeated Andrew College 79-56 in their final game of the regular season on Saturday.
Up 32-17 in the second quarter, the Lady Titans' turnover woes caused their lead to shrink to one by halftime.
Appropriate for the Sophomore Day celebration, sophomores Fredricka Sheats and Victoria Brown came out strong after halftime with back-to-back three point baskets.
In the third quarter, the Lady Titans outscored Andrew College 26-9. Fifteen of the 26 points were attributed to Sheats and Brown shooting 5-8 from beyond the arc. Adding 17 bench points to the final tally, the Lady Titans were able to cruise past Andrew for the win.
Fredricka Sheats finished with a game-high 29 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and two blocks. Victoria Brown also scored double-digits, finishing with 20 points, four rebounds, six assists, three steals, and one block.
