Lady Titans Suffer Loss to South Georgia Tech

Americus, Ga. – In their third and final matchup of the regular season, the Central Georgia Technical College Lady Titans (9-14, 8-5) fell 70-56 to South Georgia Technical College on Saturday.

Playing a close game through the first half, the Lady Titans were unable to counter South Georgia Tech's game plan in the third quarter. After allowing South Georgia Tech to go on a 19-3 run, the Lady Titans would find themselves down by as many as 22 points in the second half.

Sophomore Victoria Brown scored a game-high 19 points and added six rebounds, one block, and one steal. Fredricka Sheats pulled in 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Laurie Thomas rounded out the list of Lady Titan double-digit scorers with 12 points, six rebounds, and two steals.

The Lady Titans return to action on Wednesday, February 6 when they face Georgia Highlands College in Rome at 5:30 p.m.
